Essex Site 3
202 Broome Street is our second project acquired in the Lower East Side neighboor of NYC. A portion of The Market Line will be housed in the building’s lower level, and there will be 16,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, the so-called “modern bazaar” connecting to the Essex Crossing “Gateway” building across Norfolk Street. The second through fifth floors will be home to 75,000 square feet of office space where workers will enjoy high ceilings, bike rooms with showers, and expansive views in all directions. Residential amenities aren’t too shabby either – they include a fitness center, lounge, terrace and lobbies, a triple-height atrium, and direct Market Line access. AZA INT have been involved also in the construction of 242 Broome street block, and our team is proud to be part of this new challenge with Taconic and Triton as the general contractor.
Walsh Glass and Metal will be our partner for the installation, Cetra Ruddy the architect for records, with whom we’ve already worked for 412W 15th street and EOC as the facade consultant.
