When complete, “Triangle” residential building, located at 43-12 Hunter Street, will stand 18 stories over Long Island City and will introduce 123 rental units to the expanding community. Designed by SLCE Architects, Triangle is expected to include approximately 4,000 square feet of retail area spanning both cellar and ground floor levels, a lounge, a fitness center, and a rooftop terrace. Slade Architecture will oversee interior design of the project.
Rockrose Development reportedly purchased the build site for $1 million in 2006.
Excavation at 43-23 Hunter Street had already been conclused in the first quarter of 2018 and with full completion will be anticipated by the fourth quarter of 2019.
AZA INT will provide for this project with design, engineering and production of all the curtain wall units either glazed or with composite panels, of whom 456 operable windows, and 9 terrace doors.
